I'm dying for an alternative to The Party (www.t3hparty.org). I mean, don't get me wrong, I LOVE The Party, but I need something else to do in the downtime. Besides that, The Party is mysteriously offline today - getting 404 errors trying to access it.

This is one of the best forum around the internet, more than 500 members constantly viewing and a nice a community also. People there aren't idiots unlike what... ? 99% of the internet ? There also a nice game there wich you might want to try
I'm not joining a forum whose only purpose is to discuss a simple, ALBEIT QUITE WELL-DONE, Flash rhythm game.
I want something a bit broader in scope than that.

How about joining a nice heated debate eh? There's a very nice debate section over at <a href="http://www.dgemu.com">www.dgemu.com</a> 's forums, however you need a password to access it.
There's the politics forum here. As well as other debate sections in forums. I also know of gbatemp.net their forums are quite nice.
Other than that, you could try reading a book or looking up something on the internet.
The internet is an enormous collection of information, there's almost everything about anything! Try doing something about that.

Well, I do fancy a nice heated debate, but again, I'm looking for something mostly general.
And if there's one thing I suck at debating (due to complete lack of interest), it's politics.
I stop by dgemu from time to time to look up homebrew. That's about it.
And yeah, I know the world's knowledge is at my fingertips 24/7, but I guess I'm just not that curious anymore.
